The terms and conditions outlined below apply to all orders placed on emilioseliades.com.cy this includes any orders placed online or telephone. By purchasing you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Order processing

Once an order has been placed we will send an order acknowledgement to confirm that we have received your order and one of our team will be processing the order. Acceptance of an order is only confirmed when the goods have been dispatched from our warehouse. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch, if this is the case we will refund your payment in full.

Website accuracy

We endeavor to keep our site updated with our stocking quantities but sometimes this information can be inaccurate. If this is the case we will inform you of the products availability and either offer a full refund or an alternative product.

All the dimensions provided on our site are as accurate as possible. Please be aware that the information stated is provided directly from the manufacturer, these dimensions are only approximate.

Warranties

Emilios Eliades Appliances Ltd offers 2 years limited warranty for all its products. Warranty period starts from the purchase date.

In reference to air conditioning units:

  1. Installation must be completed by a licensed / approved technician.
  2. Air conditioners should be serviced and maintained according to manufactures’ specifications. Problems arising from inappropriate use or maintenance are not covered by warranty.

Warranty covers any problem or anomaly due to manufacturer’s defect.  It does not cover any fault from wrongful use, bad installation from unauthorized technician, inappropriate use, possible power supply network anomalies, exogenous factors such as climate conditions ( earthquake, floods, wind, lighting strike etc).

Any warranties provided with our products are provided on the proviso that the product will be used for domestic purposes only, we are unable to supply any warranties for commercial use.

All orders are made in line with current Cyprus law.

Personal Data
 
Personal Data collected allows the Company to fulfil the order selected. The company collects the minimum required personal information solely for marketing purposes and may be used (in accordance with any preferences you have expressed and/or instructions given) to send you marketing messages by email, post, phone and social media, to keep you updated in relation to the services you have signed up for.

Delivery

We deliver only within Cyprus and we only deliver on weekdays (Monday to Friday). We do not deliver on holidays and weekends. Delivery will be made within a few working days provided the product is in stock. You will be notified by email of telephone for the exact date. We cannot take responsibility for order and delivery delays outside our organizations control  or for delays that occur as a result of Acts of God like fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disaster, war, invasion, civil war, rebellion, riot, terrorist activities, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.

Scrap Collection /Installation

When we are collecting you old appliance we require that the product is unplumbed / disconnected and outside the property, also any freezers must be fully defrosted. If a product is not outside the property our drivers will try to help move the scrap item out of the building but as they are not insured to do so, this means that if there is any damage to the property while removing the old appliance we will not be held liable. We are unable to offer any installation service for any products we do not supply.

Legal information

Please be aware that we cannot be held liable for anything that is out of our control, this includes any major events such as flooding or heavy snow fall. Please read the below information:

1.1 The Company will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

1.2 A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes, in particular (without limitation), the following:

Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; or Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; or Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster; or Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; or Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.

1.3 Our obligations under these terms are suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time to perform these obligations for the duration of that period. We will take reasonable steps to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under these terms can be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

Additional Work Charges for Air Conditioning

The Standard installation includes installation of the indoor and outdoor units with maximum 3m connecting copper pipes.

In cases where additional work is required, the installer’s charges to the customers will be as follows:

Chemical cleaning of refrigerant pipes with nitrogen in cases @ € 30.00 for an air conditioner

Air conditioning removal (9000-24000BTU @ € 25.00 for an air conditioner

Installation beyond 3 meter € 18.00 per extra meter.

Installation Trunking 100X50 for pipe coverage – € 12.00 per meter.Heater Switch in an existing box – € 20.00 each.Installation of plastic base of outdoor unit floor – € 20.00 each.Installation of metal base of external wall unit 9000-12000BTU / € 30.00 each – 18000-24000BTU / € 35.00 each.Installation Isolator according to EAC regulations – € 50.00 each.The company does not undertake drilling in concrete, stone or columns.If you need a Forklift You will pay the customer per hour – € 60 The above prices include VAT. 19%.

Electrical Home appliances delivery & installation.

Emilios Eliades Appliances Ltd offers delivery & installation for all its electrical home appliances. Delivery cost is 10euro per piece. If we are requested to Install the appliance then delivery and Installation cost is 25euro per piece.  These costs are considered as standard minimum charge for delivery and standard installation. The delivery of the products is executed only within the areas controlled by the republic of Cyprus, by a partner transport company or via a partner courier company.

Standard Installation:

The standard installation of a home appliance is set to 25 euro. Standard installation includes the installation of the product on a proper provision for the type of the product selected.

Standard installation does not includes any of the following:

  • Any kind of openings on the civil structure or wooden kitchen furniture.
  • Proper electrical  provision should be available at place of connection. Any extra electrical installation works must be completed by an authorized electrician.
  • Any use of a fork lift.
  • In case of a TV set, installation does not include any wall brackets.
  • For cookers please note that any gas regulators with its accessories.
  • For air conditioners please refer to the air conditioners installation section.

Delivery within 48 hours (clarification): 

  • This is to clarify that the delivery within 48 hours complies for 2 working days and not physical hours. 
  • Our working days/hours: Monday – Friday 8:00-13:00 and 14:30-17:00. National holidays apply.   
  • Example: An order received on Saturday, Sunday or on a national holiday, it will be delivered within the next 48 working hours.
